Caterpillars:  Wooly Bears I & II

Infants, ages 6 weeks to 18 months

Each teacher nurtures and bonds with your baby through cuddling, conversation, and attending to their daily needs.   Your child is provided with a safe and developmentally appropriate environment filled with toys and activities to promote social skills, self-help, language development, and exploration.  Each infant is assigned to their own caregiver and crib. We provide every infant with clean sheets, blankets, bibs and burpies, as well as meals and snacks. We also provide Enfamil with Iron formula as our formula of choice..

Toddlers, Ages 18 months to approximately 3 years

We encourage play through developmentally appropriate themed learning centers as an avenue for learning since socialization is an integral part of your toddler’s development.  At this age you may be very eager for your child to begin toilet training.  Toilet training can be a very stressful time for you and your child.  It requires consistency, patience, and open communication between you and the teacher.  To the best of our ability, we will make every effort possible to support your toileting routine at home. Our teachers are very patient and will encourage your child in a positive manner so they may thrive and develop a good self-esteem about themselves and their accomplishments.

 Preschool, Ages 3 to 5 year old

Positive reinforcement, repetition, and play are ways children learn.  Our preschool classrooms provide your child with developmentally appropriate learning centers based on the 6 domains of child development.  Through these learning centers your child will have the opportunity to develop his/her thinking and problem-solving skills as well as enhance their social and physical development.  Our child sized equipment makes it possible for your child to develop his/her independence and self-esteem.  In preparation for kindergarten, your child will develop skills and concepts in reading, math, science, and writing.

 It is hard to believe how fast children grow, but we are excited to be a part of this important time!!  As your child grows and progresses to the next level you will receive a written plan to help both you and your child make the necessary transition in their educational development.  After successfully completing these age-appropriate programs they will have attained the essential foundation needed for their academic and social development for the future.
