Sharon Hill Daycare and Preschool has been serving families since 1986 offering quality care for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. We are an owner - operated facility with a personal commitment to safety and quality.  We strive to provide the best possible environment for each child entrusted in our care, one in which they can blossom. It is through a combination of free play and structured activities, and repeated opportunities for decision making that makes us confident that each child will leave Sharon Hill Daycare and Preschool with a positive attitude towards school for years to come.

Our teachers are the foundation to implementing our mission statement and philosophy. All of our staff is educated in early childhood development and with their guidance your child will grow socially, physically, mentally and emotionally in a loving and caring environment. Every teacher has been carefully selected based on their education and experience in the field of early childhood and must successfully complete a rigorous interviewing process, background check and once hired a 90 day training period.  All employees are required to continue their education by attending on-going classes and seminars in the field of early childhood development.  In addition, every member of staff must complete and keep current the following state required classes First Aid, CPR, Management of Communicable Diseases and the Recognition of Child Abuse.

Sharon Hill Daycare and Preschool is proud to be taking part in Step Up To Quality.  Step Up To Quality is a voluntary rating system for licensed programs such as ours.  Programs participating in this program will exceed quality above and beyond Ohio’s licensing regulations. Our Tri-County and Forest Park Locations have recently been awarded their first stars.
